What makes up an association's tech stack?
A roadmap looks at every system your staff and members touch, and how data moves among them.

Routine and scheduled work across systems
Which systems should I keep, replace, build or connect?
We audit every system and your member data, then give each one a decision and a five-year cost.
-
Keep
Systems that work and will scale stay, with a plan to get more from them.
-
Replace
Systems that hold you back get requirements, an RFP and vendor demos.
-
Build
Where nothing fits, we build the integration or help you set up the agent.
-
Connect
Integrations move member data between systems, so staff stop retyping it.
How do I decide what to do first?
Every roadmap item is scored on three things and plotted on one page, so you can see the trade-offs at a glance.
- Member value
What members gain - Staff
effort
To learn and operate - Five-year cost
Capital and operating
Which AI agents can I put to work?
Ricochet goes past AI policy and prompt training. We help you set up agents in the platforms you already use, starting with these five.
-
Customer service inbox
Sorts member questions and drafts replies for staff.
-
Duplicate monitor
Scores likely duplicates and proposes merges. Works with any AMS.
-
Data hygiene
Finds incomplete and inconsistent records and proposes fixes.
-
AEO, GEO and SEO
Keeps your site findable in search and in AI answers.
-
Renewal and win-back
Spots members at risk and lapsed members worth winning back.
What do I get from a tech and AI roadmap?
A five-year plan with a decision and a cost for every system. Ricochet then builds what the roadmap calls for.

What associations ask about technology and AI
What should an association do about AI first?
Start with your data. AI is only as good as the member records it reads, so a roadmap begins with a data audit and the first agents clean and connect data before they touch members.
Can AI work with our AMS?
Yes. We help you set up agents inside the platforms you already use, and a duplicate contact agent can work with any AMS.
How do you keep member data safe with AI?
Data protection is part of every roadmap. Each agent gets access only to the data it needs, and your team stays in control of it.
What is an AI agent?
Software that carries out a routine task on its own, such as sorting an inbox or flagging duplicate records, and reports back to staff. Agents live in your own platforms, so your team owns them.
How long does a technology roadmap take?
About 90 days from discovery to a roadmap and budget, with optional help building integrations and agents after that.
When should we replace our AMS?
When it holds you back and its contract is coming up. Time the switch to the renewal date and notice window, so you don't pay for two systems at once. Make one big change a year, so staff can absorb it, and connect and clean your member data first. A roadmap sets the timing and the five-year cost.
How do we keep member data in sync across our systems?
Connect your systems so data moves on its own, with one system of record, usually your AMS. Integrations match each record on a unique ID, such as the AMS Member ID, so duplicates don't pile up. A roadmap maps every system and data flow first. Ricochet then builds the integrations, including the AMS Connector for HubSpot or Mailchimp.
Why do members have duplicate records and login problems?
Usually because records are created in more than one place, such as event registration, the website and the AMS, without a shared ID. Each new record looks like a new person, and members end up logging in to the wrong one. A duplicate contact agent can score likely duplicates and propose merges, and it works with any AMS.
