NTMA Chapters Get Engaged
Ricochet brought new energy to NTMA's two-day Chapter Leadership Summit with a presentation on membership engagement and skilled emcee work across both days.
What was holding NTMA back?
The National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) represents 1,200 member companies with more than $8 billion in sales. Each year its two-day Chapter Leadership Summit brings national leaders and staff together with regional leaders and staff to exchange ideas and tackle association issues. NTMA wanted to inject new energy into the event. It asked Ricochet for a presentation on how trade organizations can strengthen membership engagement and an emcee to keep things running smoothly.
What did Ricochet do?
Ricochet developed fresh workshop content grounded in third-party research and its own experience. Rather than a lecture, the presentation brought the topic to life with common challenges and five detailed best practices that chapters could put to work right away. Ricochet also managed the event's speakers and introduced each session. The team facilitated the panel discussions and breakout sessions so the meeting stayed informative and engaging for everyone in the room.
What changed for NTMA's members?
NTMA's chapter leaders left the summit with five best practices they could apply right away to engage their own members. That gives member companies in each region a path to more active chapters. Because Ricochet kept the program moving, attendees spent their time on ideas and discussion rather than logistics. By all accounts, the summit hit the mark.
